When I Have Sung My Songs To You...Nah, it's not Nelson Eddie's song

This one's a poem I wrote flouting most rules of poetry, actually and grammar too. But it's following a wierd pattern that just happened by...hmm. Check it out.

WHEN I HAVE SUNG MY SONGS TO YOU . . .

And when all intrigues are done with,

And when all jealousy is banished forthwith,

And when all hate is vanquished herewith,

Love will still be Love.

And when all kisses have been kissed,

And when all devotion has been promised,

And when all wishes have been wished,

Love will still be Love.

And when all white is maimed,

And when all respect is chained,

And when all fear is sustained,

Love will still be Love.

And when all battles have been fought,

And when all gallantry has been taught,

And when all ideas have been thought,

Love will still be Love.

And when all fires have been quelled,

And when all egos have been felled,

And when all flowers have been smelled,

Love will still be Love.

And when all pride has been humbled,

And when all stones of wrath have been crumbled,

And when words of regret have been mumbled,

Love will still be Love.

And when sweet librettos have been spoken,

And when all ice of ambiguity has been broken,

And when dying embers of life have been woken,

Love will still be Love.

When I have sung my songs to you,

I will sing no more . . .

When I have given my life unto you,

I will give no more . . .

But for one loyal, one faithful;

Am I singing on and on, till eternity…

Because, Love will still be Love.
